Stella Kake-Schmid is a local māori born in New Zealand (Aotearoa) and raised in the Bay of Islands. She is a conservationist with cultural knowledge, history and experience in the protection and preservation of the flora and fauna of our country.
These creatures were uplifted from their country and brought here to Aotearoa, New Zealand.
They were taken from their environment, their home and now that they are here. They are doing what naturally comes to all of us....they are trying to survive.
Unfortunately these creatures are the reason for the devastating decline of our forest and wildlife.
